Run the lift up and down using the armrest toggle without a passenger. Listen for any clicking or resistance.
Slide the carriage slowly onto the rail from the bottom end. Ensure it rolls smoothly without binding.
Flip down the armrest paddle switch and hold it down. The lift should travel smoothly. Release the switch; the lift must stop immediately.
