Behind the glamorous persona lies a more personal story. She met her husband, American chiropractor Dr. Robert Walcher, during a Filipino community event in San Diego in the early 2000s. They married in 2005 and now have two sons, Robert IV and Ryan James. The family initially settled in California, where Patricia worked as a DJ and aesthetician, before making the decision to move to the Philippines to immerse their children in Filipino culture. "My children were so proud of my winning as Mrs. Universe Finest," she has shared about her pageant journey.
